Disney's
Alladin: (1993) American Animation as a whole, especially when
it comes to adult themes, is a lament. Disney movies of late may
be loaded with rumors and myths about its sexy moments, but I know the
TRUTH about one. That's right, Truth; not some rumor based on slow-motion
VCRs or old ladies who aren't getting enough, but the story behind the
story of a cut scene from Alladin. Ready? So Jafar gets
the Magic Lamp from our hero Alladin and sends Al packing, effectively
taking controll of the Kingdom from Sultan and Jasmine (LEFT). When
next we cut to the palace, Sultan's being fed crackers by Gilbert Godfrey,
and Jasmine has undergone what appears to be Spontaneous Costume Change
(RIGHT) and is in chains(!!). What follows in true symbolism (ok,
I'll stoop) is; one money-shot reference (apple chunk on Jasmine's cheek),
one "pussy-cat" name-calling, several more missing scenes that featured
ME (no, really, watch - she's in chains, then she's not.. where'd they
go? Gone, Dunno), one sultry "Jasmine tries to fool Jafar by being seductive"
scene (erm, RIGHT *pant*), and generally a lot of sexual confusion.
Somewhere in between all that, the missing and the seen, is the Truth.
